New Students, a new grade, and a new instrument.

so! i am officially going to get 2 new students!! YAY! i am even more excited because it is for a GREAT cause!!!! My teaches Joe and Jacie Sites have this amazing program called Strings for Kids. i am sure that you all have heard of the discounted lunch program that gets low income kids free or discounted lunch. well it is the same thing. joe and jacie have brought hundreds of kids free violins and guitars and a school program. well they also offer the same kids discounted lessons in the shop. well, obviously they dont want to offer their studio space with popular teachers, so they give two students to the higher advanced people that are older that have the skills to teach. so any way i am excited about that because it will be for a GREAT cause! also, i am officially learning a new instrument!! THE GUITAR!! ha ha! i had my first group lesson today! it took me a second but then i really understood it!!! it is really fun, i am using a strings for kids instrument right now (they give them free instruments too), and i am hoping i can find somebody's to borrow! anyway, school also started....bummer. it is okayish. i am 100% possitive that my math teacher is a hippee. no doubt in my mind! he he! o well he is good though! anyway hope ya'll have a GREAT day, and remember to SMILE!!!! :)

MRI

So today i was privaleged with getting to do yet ANOTHER MRI. as many of you know i had to get one when i was 10 due to a disease in my leg. and as many of you also know, i have been having back problems all summer. so my doctor decided i need a scan to make sure it was connected to my leg. so i had to lay on a table similar to this one and then you get put inside this little tiny tube. just to help the image along, you can see the outside that is flat with the 3 gray marks, then it slopes down to the angled part, then it slopes again into the enclosed tube. well my head was right underneath where it becomes the enclosed tube. so they did a lumbar scan (lower back) for 25 minutes, a pelvic scan for 25 minutes, then they had to give me an injection of dye and do another scan for 10 minutes. so that whole time (which ended up being a litte over an hour) i had to HOLD STILL! no moving!!! AAAAAAAH! it was really hard! and they way an MRI works is by a bunch of magnets banging together to make loud knocks and sounds! it is soooooooo lound! oh well i survived! so the scan came back clear and there is nothing wrong with my lymph glands (which were screwed up with my leg), spine, kidneys, or nerves! so now i will try to make any inflamation go down with ibuprofen, or have to do physical therapy! fun fun! so any way! coming up in kendee's medical future....possible thyroid medications, and a tonsil removal! now that i have bored you with all of this crumb....toodles!
