Tonsils......blech

So last Wednesday, January 15, I had my tonsils out. BLAHHHHHH. IT is NOTTT fun at all. Although i didnt get sick at all, it was awful. The day i had them out was not too bad because they had this numbing stuff they put in the back of my throat. But the next day, especially friday was very very painful. Although i get to take meds that make me feel great, but the didn't really cut that much pain. The first day i ate about 10 popcicles, 2 bowls of ice cream, mashed potatoes, and whatever else. but now that i have been down for about 9 days i think that i am about sick of eating, colorless, startchy, textureless, boring, bland foods. i mean seriously, one person can only eat so many mashed potatoes, and scrambled eggs before going crazy. I have been really suprised of how long i have had to be out of school. i thought that i would be down for like a week, but i dont even think i will go to school this week. i didnt really start to feel that different until yesterday, and last night was one of the first nights i didnt have to wake up and take anything. But whatever its done now. so anyway! ya it just wasnt the funnest thing i have ever done, but it wasnt terrible! so anyways toodles!

I was wondering when you were going to get them taken out!? I've heard the older you get the longer it takes you to heal. I remember I was really raw and sore for a really long time!
Hope that you can start to feel better! Because I've been thinking about you.

Sorry about the tonsils. Hope you are feeling better soon. That does not sound fun. BTW - love the new picture, too cute. I think you should move down here so you can teach Landry how to play the violin!

Kendee, I am happy that you are over the tonsils thing. That sore in your mouth looked pretty painful. Also, I love!!!! your picture. It is so beautiful and your playing at our house was amazing.
